MAYKOR becomes a partner of Innopolis University's Informatics Olympiad
MAYKOR became a partner of the Open Olympiad in computer programming for students held by Innopolis University. The head-to-head round of the Olympiad was held on February 25-26, 2017 in two locations: Innopolis, Russia and Minsk, Belarus. All the finalists received valuable prizes from MAYKOR.
Support for this event is part of MAYKOR's "Engineer as a Profession" social initiative, which is aimed at overcoming an IT staff shortfall and promoting technical professions in Russia.
The Olympiad is traditionally held in two rounds. The qualifying round brought together 3,374 students from 56 countries. The final round of the competition featured more than 150 of the best students from 13 countries, including students from 21 Russian regions. During the final, which was held in Innopolis, the students were able to develop their practical programming skills, as well as receive useful advice and recommendations from the leading professors from Innopolis University and experts from the largest IT companies.
