CRT Service and Open Technologies announce a partner agreement

Open Technologies, leading Russian system integrator, and CRT Service, Russia's largest high-tech service company and part of the MAYKOR Group, announce a partner agreement.

The signed agreement bears value for all companies interested in development and follow-up support of IT infrastructure, as it will enable Open Technologies to provide IT infrastructure support and maintenance services to its clients throughout Russia via CRT Service's branch network of 82 service centers. In its turn, CRT Service will expand the range of its system integration services.

The signed agreement bears value for all companies interested in development and follow-up support of IT infrastructure, as it will enable Open Technologies to provide IT infrastructure support and maintenance services to its clients throughout Russia.

The new business alliance, in which each party will concentrate on its own IT competencies, will open the following opportunities for potential clients:

— regional service coverage throughout Russia;
— broader range of available services;
— lower priced final maintenance service for the client;
— problem handling mobility;
— problem handling mobility.

"Our cooperation with CRT Service enables both companies to focus on their integrated federal level projects with clients who previously had no opportunity to get unified IT services for all their regional branches," says Nikolay Ryzhov, General Director for Open Technologies.

"Previously, geographically distributed companies with nationwide coverage in Russia would be unable to find a single service provider capable of fulfilling their complex IT needs. The signed strategic agreement between CRT Service and Open Technologies is a first step in developing IT outsourcing on a federal scale. By uniting extensive branch network and engineering competencies of CRT Service with the design experience of Open Technologies we are building an alliance of unique potential," comments Marina Gornaya, CRT Service President.

According to Michail Borovov, head of Open Technologies Service and Outsourcing Directorate, in 2010–2011 the IT market demonstrated increased interest to IT outsourcing and solutions designed to reduce the total cost of ownership of information systems. At present the Service and Outsourcing Directorate generates 20% of revenue for Open Technologies, but considering the dynamics of this business line, a considerable increase of this figure is expected.

CRT Service, for its part, has greatly expanded its presence in resent years. With 54 branches in 2008, in 2011 there is a total of 82 branches, including in such traditionally «difficult» regions as, for example, some of the hard-to-reach regions of the Far East (Sakhalin, Magadan region, etc.). The number of geographically distributed CRT Service clients keeps growing and now they account for around 80% of the company's business. Among these are large retail networks, telecom operators, financial institutions, industrial and state-owned enterprises.
