Frontstep and GMCS proceed to automate GOTEK Group
GOTEK Group automation project is launched jointly by Frontstep and GMCS.

The project plans involve automation of key modules on the basis of two ERP systems, namely, SyteLine (budgeting, planning, production, logistics, inventory stock) and Microsoft Axapta (financial, fiscal, management accounting, financial flow management). The both systems are based on newest Microsoft technologies, which will ensure their reliable integration within a common information environment.

The peculiar feature of the project that all tasks will be solved on the basis of the two ERP systems: SyteLine (budgeting, planning, production, logistics, inventory stock) and Microsoft Axapta (financial, fiscal, management accounting, financial flow management). The both systems are based on newest Microsoft technologies, which will ensure their reliable integration within a common information environment.

Such configuration is due to the customer wishing to apply the frontline IT-technologies in solving tasks set.

Frontstep, an old and reliable partner of Gotek, was awarded a master contract for performance of all work under the project. Three year ago at one of POLYPAK Group an automated management system (on the basis of a previous version of SyteLine ERP) and SyteLine Business Intelligence business analysis and report generation system were introduced. The solution developed was aimed at enabling to adequately reflect existing and future enterprise business processes within a common automated enterprise management system. The enterprise managers could then plan production operatively based on reliable information in real-time mode. It became possible to better manage, and thus reduce, manufacturing costs, cut down order processing times, operatively assess objective value of potential orders, obtain reliable and operative information enabling cost variance analysis, and, what is the most important thing, focus the enterprise at current and future market needs.

SyteLine has, within years of successful operation at POLYPAK, proven to be viable, reliable and efficient. The foregoing was a meaningful reason for Frontstep to be selected as a general contractor for the whole GOTEK Group.

GMCS was awarded a subcontract for financial and accounting module on the basis of Microsoft Axapta, as the company possesses a solid experience in automation of distributed companies with multi-subsidiary structure and a list of Microsoft Axapta based adjustments and required for successful implementation of the project tasks."It is of crucial importance for us that Frontstep was the company to perform work for creation of a common information environment," V. A. Chuykov, Chairman of the Board of GOTEK Group stated prior conclusion of the contract. "Restructuring of business processes and their automation are sure to even more improve our standing in the market."
