MAYKOR discusses development of intelligent metering at Russian Ministry of Energy meeting
MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, took part in a seminar and meeting of the Russian Ministry of Energy with manufacturers and participants of projects on the development of intelligent metering in the nation's power industry. The event was held on October 11-12 in Vladimir.

Together with other event participants, MAYKOR employees considered the issues of introducing intelligent metering into Russia's power industry and summarized the initial results of work performed in this area. Companies representing the industry shared their experience in implementing such solutions in the territorial networks of large cities and rural areas. In addition, the Russian Ministry of Energy presented a concept for the development of intelligent metering.

The final part of the seminar was an open discussion on current issues in the legislation of the Russian Federation. The meeting's participants, along with representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the State Duma Committee on Energy, discussed the introduction of amendments to certain Russian laws concerning the development of electricity metering systems, and also studied proposals on amendments to regulations.
