MAYKOR Experts Discussed New Changes in Federal law № 54-FZ at a business lunch with the FTS
Specialists of MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, took part in a business lunch organized by SKB Kontur. The event took place on September 13 in Moscow. Experts discussed processes of transitioning to online point of sale systems in light of new amendments to the Federal Law № 54-FZ.

Representatives of tax agency and service organizations discussed a number of challenges associated with the transitioning to new POS systems, the readiness level of all parties, preliminary cost estimates and the peculiarities of upgrading a POS fleet. Vassily Skrynsky, Head of the Key Accounts Department, outlined the workflow of upgrading POS equipment to meet legal requirements and pointed out the role of support centers.

"The modernization of POS systems with allowance for the amendments of Federal law № 54-FZ requires high qualification, therefore it is reasonable to outsource this task to service companies certified by appliance manufacturers. It is highly advisable not to postpone the choice of service provider and plan your POS equipment upgrade as early as possible, because these tasks require extensive preparation, including inventory, verification and recovery of lost documents, allocating funds for modernization, and ordering upgrade kits," noted the MAYKOR expert.
