MAYKOR highlights the role of business in IT workforce training at CIPR 2016
MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, took part in the round table discussion "Human resources in IT", held on June 9 at the conference Information Technology of Industrial Russia (CIPR 2016) in Innopolis.

This round table featured representatives of the leading Russian educational institutions that offer IT training, IT directors of industrial companies, and HR specialists of IT companies. The participants discussed current IT education challenges in Russia and opportunities for business to facilitate workforce training.

Irina Grigorian, Vice President of HR at MAYKOR, spoke about MAYKOR's role in IT workforce training. In addition to close cooperation with higher education institutions and professional colleges in designing and carrying out educational programs, the company provides internal training opportunities. "Our industry segment requires universally skilled service engineers, who are hard to find in the regions. We are ready to hire specialists without work experience and provide them with the necessary training on the job. Thus, MAYKOR takes on the role of the "university for the industry". With the work experience and additional in-service training acquired at MAYKOR, our specialists have better chances of professional and career growth," Irina Grigorian pointed out in her speech.
