GMCS will automate operations with counterparties for RUSNANO
The Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) is implementing the project on the deployment of the automated management system for communications with counterparties.

GMCS is a partner of the corporation under this project. RUSNANO was established as a structure intended for the development of the Russian nanotechnology industry being a co-investor in nanotechnology projects with substantial economic potential or social benefit; it actively participates in the creation of nanotechnology infrastructure facilities.

In the course of its activities, RUSNANO communicates with many counterparties including applicants and specialists from different fields that are engaged in the participation in scientific and technical expertise of projects proposed for consideration. Taking into account the current tasks and plans of development, the corporation is interested in establishing a uniform solution based on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft SharePoint technologies that would enable to provide the counterparties with all necessary information online, and for the RUSNANO officers – to make easy the process of receipt and registration of information received from the counterparties (applicant data, expert opinions etc.).

Based on the results of the tender conducted by RUSNANO, GMCS was selected as the partner of the project to create the automated management system for communications with counterparties. The GMCS's previous successful projects of implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and their positive experience in building the integration solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint was decisive in the selection of the contractor.

The modules for communications with applicants and experts will be added to the project office module currently operating under the project. The GMCS specialists will automate the process of receiving the applications and accounting of the questionnaire information of counterparties, as well as the process for communications with external experts. In turn, the corporation officers will get more convenient tools for registration and accounting of counterparties.

Based on the Microsoft technologies, the GMCS specialists will create personal profiles at the RUSNANO Web portal using which each applicant or expert will be able to swiftly track the status of processing a submitted application, and obtain the templates of the required documents.

In accordance with customer's requirements, GMCS will provide an opportunity to perform questionnaire surveys among the applicants. Thus, the data received in the course of the questionnaire surveys will be promptly received by the units responsible for external communications in ROSNANO for their further use to achieve marketing and other objectives.

The establishment of the integrated automated management system for communications with counterparties of the RUSNANO Corporation is scheduled to be completed in summer 2010.

"The implemented project is very important for us. We expect that the implementation of the integrated automated system will enable a considerable increase in the efficiency of communications with applicants and experts in the key directions," comments Boris Kulakov, Head of the IT-Group, GK Rosnanotekh. "Specifically, the use of the system will enable us to optimize processing of incoming applications, and improve the level of providing information to the potential and existing applicants."

"Our company is happy to participate in the project which is very important for the Russian science and economy. We've made our best efforts to help our customer to half open the door to the world of nanotechnologies while supporting information technologies," notes Vyacheslav Blinkov, Project Manager, Microsoft Solutions Department, GMCS.
