GMCS completed main phases of a project to implement HRM software at an airplane manufacturer
GMCS has completed the main phases of a project to implement BOSS-Kadrovik, an automated personnel management system at  Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG, a major domestic aircraft manufacturer. The project provides for a full-scale implementation of BOSS-Kadrovik at all MiG sites. To date, the system has been implemented at most of the corporation's sites.

The project provided a foundation for creating a centralized personnel management system for the entire corporation. As of today, the centralized database ensures the maintenance of personnel files, staff tables and payroll calculation at 4 of the company's 5 sites. Operations of the company's personnel, time-sheet, economic planning and payroll departments are now automated. In the nearest future, the system is to be implemented at the last remaining MiG site.

As a result of the implementation, the company is planning to automate 100 workstations. Over the 12 months of the project's implementation, 70 new jobs were created.

Assessing the project, Sergey Morozov, Chief Accountant at Aircraft Corporation MiG  pointed out that "Completion of the project's main phases and commissioning of BOSS-Kadrovik has become for the company an important step on the way to address the issues related to personnel policy and payroll calculation. The project's main outputs are integrating the company's production sites within a single database for centralized personnel management and applying common methodology for payroll calculation for the entire corporation, integrating the economic planning and payroll departments into a single system comprised of various business-process elements. All this has enabled the company to reengineer its main business-processes and provided momentum for further development. Thanks to the professionalism of GMCS consultants, implementation of this modern management tool went smoothly and with proper quality."

The federal unitary enterprise MiG Russian Aircraft Corporation became the first domestic aircraft manufacturer to integrate within a single corporate structure organizations ensuring all the elements relating to the aircraft life-cycle – from concept development, schematic and detailed design, prototype development and testing to marketing, mass production and technical support in the course of operation, as well as pilot and maintenance staff training.

Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FGUE) Russian Aircraft Engineering Corporation MiG was the first national manufacturer of aircraft engineering products which united, within an integrated legal structure, profile entities, providing all components of a lifecycle for airborne vehicles manufactured, starting fr om concept development, schematic design and detailed engineering, building and testing of preproduction models and up to marketing, serial production and aftersales support service during operation, and training of cockpit and maintenance personnel.
