GMCS declares to launch automation project for KPD-Terminal
KPD-Terminal owns a warehouse built in 2003 and equipped with modern refrigerating and loading equipment, four-tier stackers with total area of several thousands pallet places. 

Company's quality standards require continuous warehouse operation, while existing system will not be able to meet these requirements in near future, so automation tasks are set concurrently with ongoing erection of Warehouse Complex stage 2 and 3. 

KPD-Terminal's specialists conducted market research and chose a number of companies. GMCS suited all customer's requirements best. In the first line GMCS has a record of successfully realized projects on the basis of Microsoft Axapta and managed to provide a high-skilled project implementation team. 

Main objectives of the project are to improve service provision (reduced order collection times and reduced logistics costs), possibility of operative monitoring of warehouse condition, availability and utilized resources, provision of flexible service pricing policy. 

The solution developed will cover the whole logistics loop related with commodity acceptance management, completing and shipment; warehouse commodity arrangement management; storage unit monitoring; processing and generation of accompanying documents; report generation for analysis of warehouse complex operation, settlements with depositors. 

Work completion under the project is scheduled in 4 months.
