Irina Vasilyeva steps in as MAYKOR group HR Director
MAYKOR Group, the largest group of companies in the Russian service and IT outsourcing market, announces the appointment of Irina Vasilyeva as MAYKOR HR Director.

The MAYKOR Group is a large and prestigious employer with a staff of more than 2,500 qualified engineers country-wide. MAYKOR pursues an aggressive merger and acquisition policy both at federal and regional levels, and actively builds out its own resources. Ambitious to become the leader of Russian IT outsourcing market, MAYKOR pays attaches special value to developing the group's HR function.

The new MAYKOR HR Director Irina Vasilyeva will have to support and ensure streamlined development of the existing team, attract new professionals, engineer and implement a structured and systematic HR function.

The position with the MAYKOR Group appeals to me for its scale, the level of responsibility and the range of problems that have to be handled to enable our business strategy," said Irina Vasilyeva in comments on her appointment.

Irina Vasilyeva was born in Moscow in 1977. She graduated fr om the Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow Lomonosov State University with a diploma of a «mathematician, system programmer». After about two years with eHouse (Russian system integrator), Irina opted for HR consulting where she pursued her career further up to her enrollment with the MAYKOR Group. From 2005 to 2012 Irina worked with Ward Howell, a consulting company focused on locating and developing managerial workforce, wh ere she headed the search for top managers for telecom and IT industries, and was in charge of manning internal IT departments and locating CIO candidates.
