Marina Gornaya appointed New Service Technologies (NST) President
New Service Technologies – an innovative company specializing in the development and introduction of integrated IT solutions for the efficient management and technological development of companies from all sectors of the economy, a part of the MAYKOR Group, announces the appointment of Marina Gornaya to the position of President. Marina Gornaya succeeds Mikhail Romanov, who was New Service Technologies President until mid-2011.

The new position was offered to Marina Gornaya following her successful CRT Service start-up and with a view to implementing the integrated business development strategy of the Service Holding Company, of which both CRT Service and NST are a part. In her new position Gornaya will address the launch of a new line of complex IT projects for enterprise infrastructure development and the optimization of NST’s operating activities.

According to the plans, NST will offer a comprehensive range of services in the field of design, integration and follow-up servicing of corporate infocommunication and engineering systems, IT consulting and the implementation of high-tech products for the automation and optimization of customers’ business processes. The company's rapid growth and the need to develop its service portfolio call for an efficient management system, a leader with top-level competencies in both IT and management. NST has found precisely such a leader in Marina Gornaya.

Marina Gornaya has years of experience managing IT departments of large companies, and a successful track record as the head of national companies. Before coming to NST she was president of CRT Service, which she led to become the largest service company in Russia and the undisputed leader of the on-site service market. Facing an unstable macroeconomic situation, Marina Gornaya however managed to deliver growth to CRT Service, increase company value and create an operational management framework.

"My goal as New Service Technologies President is to enable successful development, to win leadership in the field of innovative IT solutions and to generate opportunities for further business growth," says Marina Gornaya in comments on her appointment.

Marina Gornaya was born in 1957. In 1979 she graduated from Moscow’s I.M. Gubkin Institute of the Petrochemical and Gas Industry (now I.M. Gubkin RGU), majoring in applied mathematics. From her graduation to 1989 she worked at computer centers, completing a climb from programmer/development engineer to head of the development team of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. In the 1990s she was head of IT services at various commercial companies.
In 1997 Marina Gornaya was employed by the Russian office of Dutch BAAN as a project manager, and then in 2001 she signed up with the Oracle consulting department as a senior principal consultant. From 2007 to 2009 Marina Gornaya worked as Oracle Products department director at GMCS, a leading Russian IT service provider.
In May 2009 she became president of CRT Service, a national high-tech service company. Since early 2012 she has been president of New Service Technologies (NST).
