MAYKOR designs and Services Facility Systems of Detsky Mir
MAYKOR, a Russian nationwide provider of IT and Business Process Outsourcing, has begun providing servicing of technical infrastructure in 225 stores of Detsky Mir (Children's Wolrd) chain. Besides, MAYKOR will provide the retail chain with a full range of services for arrangement and launch of facility systems in the retailer's new supermarkets and hypermarkets. In the last three months, with MAYKOR's help, this largest retailer of juvenile products in Russia and Kazakhstan successfully opened more than 20 stores across the whole country.

In 2013 the Detsky Mir Group of companies opened 41 stores in Russia and Kazakhstan. The Detsky Mir group anticipates that in the next years it will keep expanding its business by opening new stores. At this rapid rate of growing the best way in terms of reduction of time and costs is to engage outsourcers for covering all services through the entire lifecycle of facility systems, from the time of their making to post-warranty services.

The Detsky Mir stores facility infrastructure includes public address and access control systems, structured cabling system and office PXB system. MAYKOR provides a servicing of these systems as a package.

When launching facility systems in the new stores MAYKOR also provides turn-key solutions. It conducts R&D work, takes care of equipment procurement, installation and start-up. Then it covers warranty and post-warranty services.

MAYKOR's packaged services ensure technical support of the retailer's ambitious growth with a common level of quality and throughout Russia.

"This year the Detsky Mir group of companies is going to increase the number of stores in the cities where the chain is present, as well as enter new regional markets. Multiple functions are not transferred on a case-by-case basis, but rather they are moved to a single outsourcer as a package; this saves us time and resources that otherwise would be spent to find partners, which is especially important at the time when the company is dynamically growing," comments Nadezhda Kisileva, Head of PR Department of the Detsky Mir group of companies.
