MAYKOR to Maintain Seamless Hardware Operation at Incity Stores
MAYKOR Group, a national-scale servicer and outsourcer of IT and building utilities systems, reports good progress in its activities in cash register equipment maintenance activities under a contract awarded by Fashion Continent, the owner of Incity brand.

The projects took off in the summer of 2011 in the Urals federal district to be later scaled up to cover the entire retail chain in August 2012. At this time MAYKOR's integrated maintenance program covers more than 400 items of cash register equipment in 328 Incity stores in all major cities of Russia from Chita to Kaliningrad. The package includes equipment procurement, installation and commissioning, dealing with tax-authorities and provision of operation related advice.

The projects involves more than 40 MAYKOR branches throughout Russia. Each branch (of which MAYKOR currently has 83) holds a Service Center (SC) accreditation. To its clients MAYKOR offers high quality support for their cash register equipment at all stores of the chain's anywhere in Russia. This support is based on a single contract and the clients communicate with the outsourcer via the same user-friendly point of contact.

”As our company grows fast and continuously launches new stores, smooth operation of equipment on the shop floor– especially at the time of peak loads, such as weekends, holidays, and above all the New Year season – becomes an increasingly vital factor. Our year-long cooperation with MAYKOR has demonstrated all advantages of having this company as our permanent partner, and we shall continue working together,” says Sergey Kutsenko, Fashion Continent General Director.

”Large geographically distributed retailers introduce common standards in all their regions of presence: they use the same brand style in design if their stores, carry the same product lines and adhere to the same client service rules. It is very important to them to ensure that that non-core operations, e.g. hardware maintenance, are managed with the same quality anywhere in Russia. Today MAYKOR is the only company capable of providing high quality maintenance services nationwide, as it runs its own national-scale service network covering all of Russia. For our client partnership with us translates to a competitive advantage,” pointed out Vladimir Volkov, MAYKOR Group Vice President for Key Account Management.
