MAYKOR continues New Year charity traditions
MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, followed its tradition in the lead up to the New Year by supporting the "Charity in Lieu of Souvenirs " charitable initiative, organized by the Russian business community. This year a portion of funds for corporate gifts was directed to Elizavetinsky Garden, an institution for children suffering from infantile cerebral palsy (ICP), and to the Deti Nashi (Our Children) charitable foundation.

MAYKOR gave its clients and partners the New Year decoupage toys made by the children from Elizavetinsky Garden with the help of their parents. Elizavetinsky Garden is the only institution in Moscow for children suffering from medium and high severity ICP. The souvenirs are mainly decorated with drawings submitted by MAYKOR employees' children for the corporate competition "Engineer as a Profession."

Each charitable souvenir is accompanied by a New Year postcard by another MAYKOR partner, the Deti Nashi charitable foundation. The foundation, together with the website Blago.ru, is raising funds to support computer literacy and IT career guidance courses for the children in orphanages in Smolensk region. These courses are aimed at assisting orphaned children become better prepared for an independent, adult life. MAYKOR will double the sum raised by the website and it also invites its clients and partners to give a valuable gift to the children by supporting the initiative at Blago.ru http://blago.ru/actions/464/.
