MAYKOR creates a Good Future
Two annual New Year's charity projects at MAYKOR – the volunteer campaign "A Caring Future with MAYKOR" and "Charity in lieu of Souvenirs" – have begun.

This year, volunteers from "A Caring Future with MAYKOR” will wish a Happy New Year to children from regional institutions: Reshemskaya boarding school in Ivanovo region, Manturovskaya boarding school in Kostroma region, and a children's home in the city of Derbent in Dagestan. MAYKOR volunteers are planning to bring needed items as Christmas and New Year's gifts: stationery, craft supplies, and warm shoes purchased through private donations from company employees. The volunteers will spend the New Year holidays with the children and get to know them.

The "A Caring Future with MAYKOR" program has been active since 2013. Every year new branches are joining the program, and today it involves about 20% of MAYKOR's employees, including its subsidiary MAYKOR-GMCS.

MAYKOR's second charitable initiative is "Charity in Lieu of Souvenirs." Traditionally, a portion of the company's souvenir budget is used to arrange creative workshops for children and young people with disabilities from the GAOORDI St. Petersburg Association for Parents of Children with Disabilities. As a New Year's gift, MAYKOR customers and partners will receive candles and Christmas decorations made by the children at special workshops. A nice addition to this is a quarterly calendar with illustrations made by children from Raduga Ivanovo Children's Home during the annual art contest "Engineer as a Profession" held by MAYKOR.

"New Year's charity events are a good tradition of ours, part of the corporate culture, and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need help. Moreover, the charity program is one of the ways to strengthen relations within the team and with our customers and partners," said Irina Semenova, Vice President of Marketing at MAYKOR.
