MAYKOR Entered the Top 10 Russian IT Services Companies by RAEX rating
MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, retained its place in the top 10 Russian IT service providers. The review of the IT market was published by RAEX rating agency in Rossiyskaya Gazeta. MAYKOR holds the 8th place with a revenue of 10.63 billion rubles.

According to the authors of the review, the most significant segment of the IT market, and consequently, of the ranking participants' incomes, constitutes services: consultation, integration, support and maintenance, and training. Research carried out by RAEX over the last 10 years shows that the share of IT services in the industry's total revenue has risen from a third to a half. By the end of 2015, the total turnover gained from IT services of the ranking's participants was 187.4 million rubles, which is 49% of their total income, which is an 11% growth in a year.

Leading providers of IT support mainly attribute the growth of their segment to penetrating into new industries. "Traditionally, outsourcing has had solid positions in the government, retail, and telecom sectors. However, last year witnessed a substantial increase in the volume of outsourcing contracts in energy, transport, and manufacturing. For example, our revenue in the energy and transport sectors has more than doubled, and increased by 10% in manufacturing. Basic IT infrastructure support services still account for the largest share of demand, with the number of long-term contracts of 3 to 5 years on the rise. In critical times, a great business impact can be achieved by transitioning to new formats which eliminate capital investment in IT. These formats include "Business Solution as a Service", when an outsourcing company leases IT infrastructure for certain business tasks with included support services, as well as cloud services," explains Pavel Rastopshin, Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Operations at MAYKOR.
