MAYKOR-GMCS has created a new BI system for Unipro PJSC

MAYKOR-GMCS has developed a business intelligence system based on QlikView platform for Unipro PJSC. By applying it, the largest Russian energy company monitors the status of key financial and technological indicators online.

Unipro has chosen nonstandard approach – the company has started not only using dashboards but also displaying them to the key personnel with office monitors. Today the BI system is being used by financial and production units, procurement and IT departments. MAYKOR-GMCS' specialists have set up more than 18 analytical dashboards.

"The BI system based on QlikView allows us to monitor the "health" of the company online. Dashboards are not just management tools, but also a good motivator for employees," says Ulf Backmeyer, Deputy Director General for Economics and Finance, Unipro PJSC.

The company has immediately felt the effect of BI system use. Transparency and access to information have increased, and staff discipline has improved. Top managers can look the dashboards on mobile devices from around the world.

"It does not matter whether I'm in the office or working remotely, I can see the performance of the IT department, even the state of procurement procedures and IT budget," adds Tatiana Pobedinskaya, IT Head of Unipro PJSC . "We are going to connect other functional departments to the BI-system and also gradually expand the system capabilities in the direction of predictive analytics."
