MAYKOR launches a corporate social program for 2015
MAYKOR will become the title partner of the "Dance Stories" ("Tantsevalnie istorii") open ballroom dance festival. This event will be held in Moscow on March 14-15 under the aegis of the Russian Dance Union and Moscow Dance Sport Federation. It will become the starting point of the corporate social initiative of MAYKOR to support sports and a healthy lifestyle in 2015.

"The aim of our social initiative is to cultivate sports and a healthy lifestyle among young people in collaboration with sports organizations. This year, MAYKOR will continue to support various events across Russia, contributing to the development of the sports movement in the country," said Irina Semenova, Vice President for Marketing at MAYKOR.

The "Dance Stories" festival will be held for the fourth time. One of the main ideas of the event is to bring young dancers and dance sport legends together on the dance floor. This year's festival will feature George Coad and Patricia Thomson, as well as Robin and Rita Short, repeated prize winners and champions of international competitions, relating their stories to young dancers and guests of the event.

The focal point of the event will be the European Professional Latin Dance Championship held under the aegis of the World Dance Council.

"Social responsibility is a key indicator of business maturity. We are happy to see that every year more and more companies support sports activities as part of their social programs. Partnership with MAYKOR became a major factor in staging this festival which preserves the traditions of dancing and gives dancers of all ages, coming from various cities of Russia, an opportunity to tell their stories," said Stanislav Grigorievich Popov, president of the Russian Dance Union.

MAYKOR launched its social program to support sports and healthy lifestyle in 2014. Last year, within the framework of this program, MAYKOR became a partner of several swimming competitions.
