MAYKOR negotiated a 200% contract boost with Fix Price
MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, has reported another expansion of cooperation with Fix Price, a department store chain offering fixed prices to customers. According to the new contract, the number of equipment supported by the outsourcer has grown more than three-fold.

MAYKOR has been providing maintenance of checkout areas in Fix Price stores. The service package includes installation, deployment and configuration of equipment, support of Front Office software, registration and de-registration of POS equipment in tax agencies, and replacement of consumables. The new contract covers the Central, Northwestern, Volga, North Caucasian, Southern, Ural, and Siberian Federal Districts, which amounts to more than 1,000 points of sale.

“Fix Price retail chain totals over 2,000 stores throughout Russia. Having a different maintenance contractor in each region is impractical. Our strategy is based on cooperation with several large service providers so that we can enjoy the benefits of scale and receive the services at a competitive price,” said Oleg Leksin, Head of Information Technology at Fix Price.
