MAYKOR Up 13 Places in Leaders in Corporate Philanthropy List
MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, improved its rating in the Leaders in Corporate Philanthropy list by rising 13 places. The results of the annual research conducted by the Donors Forum, the newspaper Vedomosti, and PwC were announced on November 29 at the official ceremony in Moscow dedicated to the international charitable initiative #GivingTuesday and were published in Vedomosti.

The Leaders in Corporate Philanthropy study has been held since 2008. Its main objective is to help identify the best practices for corporate social responsibility in charity. In 2016, the project featured 60 companies representing various business sectors.

MAYKOR took part in the research for the second year in a row. Compared to last year, the company has significantly improved its position in the country's charitable donors list based not only on financial data but also on analysis of charitable initiatives' compliance with the business strategy, analysis of management system maturity, and evaluation of social impact. During this year, MAYKOR has made a number of improvements in the field of CSR. In particular, the company established the key charitable principles in a corresponding Statement and improved the quality of non-financial reporting, taking in consideration ISO 26 000 and GRI G4 recommendations when drawing up the 2015 social report. MAYKOR also invested 5.4 million rubles in development and support of the corporate programs "Engineer as a Profession","Healthy Back", and "A Caring Future with MAYKOR".

Despite the forecasts, the Leaders in Corporate Philanthropy project showed positive dynamics in companies' investment in charity and social programs. It is worth noting that the participants of the study have jointly set several records. In particular, the greatest number of companies (93%) have disclosed their budgets this year. The total CSR investment was also a record sum and reached 20 billion rubles.
