Project GMCS of treasury automation in FSUE Russian Post won in the National Award "CFO 2013"

The magazine "Financial Director" announced the names of Russian financiers, distinguished for their achievements in the past year and who were awarded in the 5th Annual National Award "CFO 2013". Deputy General Director of FSUE Russian Post Dmitry Moscowsky won the nomination "The best project for automation of treasury". The project of creating a unified information system of the Treasury (UIST) was implemented by GMCS, a member of MAYKOR.

The main mission of the award "CFO '2013" is to define the best professionals, who have reached the strategic achievements in the key sectors for a financial director: generation of company strategy, attraction of sponsorship, business restructurisation, organization of accounting and reporting. The award winners' names were announces at the award ceremony, which took place on February 27, 2014 in Moscow.

FSUE Russian Post has completed implementation of the unified information system of treasury (UIST) on the platform of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2013. GMCS acted as a contractor for the project. The system automates the management of financial flows on three main levels: the executive office, The Administration of the federal postal service (branch), post office (a separate structural unit). Every month the offices and regional AFPS make thousands of cash and non-cash payments. UIST has increased significantly the efficiency of management and control of cash flows. It is possible because of online forming a complete complex of analytical enterprise reporting: from operational reports on cash balances to complex and multi-level plan-fact queries in detailed statements of cash flow budget, responsibility centers, types of calculations, cash flow directions.

Financial processes, which are controlled by UIST include: cash-pooling, interaction with foreign postal administrations, collection of agency payments, payments to a system of interagency electronic interaction (taxes, fees, fines), auto set-off between structural units of  Russian Post etc. In addition, UIST is integrated with more than a hundred systems, including money remittances: Western Union, Forsage, plastic cards, Home Credit, urgent untargeted transfers, etc.

Today, the number of users of UIST of FSUE Russian Post is more than eight thousand people from all structural units of the company.
