RT-Inform and MAYKOR to jointly develop outsourcing services in the industrial sector
RT-Inform, a single center of excellence in IT solutions of Rostec State Corporation, and MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, intend to collaborate on the development and implementation of innovative IT service models to improve the efficiency of industrial enterprises.

The parties signed the corresponding agreement on May 26, 2015 in the city of Innopolis, Republic of Tatarstan, at the "Information Technology for the Defense Industry Service" conference. The agreement was signed by Kamil Gazizov, General Director of RT-Inform, and Pavel Rastopshin, Senior Vice President of MAYKOR.

The agreement provides for joint efforts from MAYKOR and RT-Inform on the development of IT outsourcing in the industrial sector, development of algorithms for a transition to a service model, taking into account the nature of the industry, as well as cooperation in the preparation of IT professionals to implement outsourcing projects. The parties will create working groups whose aim is to implement measures to meet these objectives.

IT outsourcing is a modern approach to solving IT challenges, allowing companies to focus on their core business by transferring support functions to a professional service provider. The benefits of outsourcing are improved financial discipline, higher level IT services, economies of scale, and access to new technologies through the expertise of the service provider.
